Age: 1.5 to 3 yrs
Aim: Exploring and Learning
Method: Playway Method
The playway method emphasises that the child learns tgrough play as it comes naturally to the child. Outdoor play with different types of toys and equipments available at our preschools is part of a playway approach . In a playway method , the focus is on the child and the teachers plan and structure acticities for children. "Play is work to the child".
Nursery
Age: 3 - 4 yrs
Aim: Smooth Transition to formal school
Method: Primarily Playway with regular use of Montessori equipment
The Montessori equipments aim to improve the conceptual, academic, practical life and mathematical development of children. It focuses on enhancing the use of all five senses of children for exploration and learning.
Children learn & develop their skills in areas related to -
Language, writing and reading readiness, Motor and Physical, Social, Aesthetic, Creative, Value Education, Cognitive, Conceptual, Mathematical, Sensory, General knowledge.
Jr. KG
Age: 4 - 5 yrs
Aim: Preparing child for reading, writing, and mathematics
Method: Playway and Montessori Method
The focus is more on developing skills related to -
Sight Reading, Writing upper case letters of the alphabet, Writing number 1-10, Number value, General Knowledge, Value Education, Science experiment, Social skills, Creative expression, Cognitive skills, Language.
Senior KG
Age: 5 - 6 yrs
Aim: Preparing for formal education - reading, writing, and math readiness. Build child's interpersonal skills. Enhance social, language, cognitive, emotional, creative, and aesthetic development while developing self-independence and self-esteem.
Method: Playway and Montessori Method
The child is introduced to one new concept or theme every month.
The content includes:
English, Mathematics, Environmental
Studies, Value Education, World around Us, Hindi
(introduction), General Knowledge,
Celebration of festivals, etc.
